Facilities Report was emailed by Rana Khan
On June 28, 2014, the facilities committee met with the pastor of Bethlehem Church. The committee presented the Pastor Camp with a formal quote from AC Interiors. The committee also presented the pastor with information on two separate firms that worked with charter schools on facility financing and construction, Canyon Agassi and Civic Builders. The pastor suggested perhaps, the church could take
out a loan from the bank to fund some of the work to bring the trailer/classroom units up to code for occupancy for students and staff.
Pastor Camp was open to all suggestions made by the committee and was willing to look into other financing options. The conversation did loop back to the fact that our lease negotiations had been paused until the anticipated work can be delineated. We will then know if we pay no rent and fix the units by finding our own financing to do so (meaning the church would not support with funding of any construction).
Many resumes have been received for various positions and they will be reviewed in the near future.
Treasurer’s Report Report made by Larry Hughes, Treasurer
