The School Counselor at CAMPA Charter School adheres to the philosophy that our students have a unique and individual potential that will be realized when presented with specific opportunities. Our school counseling program is an essential and integral part of our school’s overall education process where we collectively recognize, respect and attend to the diverse strengths and challenges of the students we serve.

Mission Statement
The CAMPA Charter School counseling program provides a comprehensive, developmental, and systematic approach that addresses the academic, career and personal/social development of all students. More specifically, the school counseling program employs strategies to enhance student academic performance, provide career awareness, encourage self-awareness, foster interpersonal communication skills and impart life success skills for our students. The counseling program is both preventive and proactive. At CAMPA charter school the faculty and staff foster a safe and respectful learning environment whereby our students can maximize personal and academic achievement. In collaboration with other educators, parents or guardians and the community, the CAMPA counselor facilitates the support system to ensure all students at CAMPA are educated and supported to reach their full potential.
